A warm welcome to our new home

When I was 19 I dropped out of college and with the help of my Mam set up the business that would shape my future, for the last three years we have been trading out of 24a Paul Street and it’s been a wonderful experience since day one.

We’ve always felt lucky with the customers we have, coming back year after year. Working with them through all stages of life. New home cards to wedding cards to new baby, we have seen the lives of our customers flourish and grow. But it wasn’t until we had to close our doors did I realise how much we meant to them as well.

The reaction from our community has been great, customers sharing kind words and memories of the shop, The Old Town Traders have rallied around offering every support they can and the builders are working tirelessly to get us open again.

It’s that great sense of community that has made me feel that we need to try and get our service online, it won’t be the same personal experience we offer in the shop but it’s the best thing we can do as to not leave our customers down during this Christmas period.

We’ll start small but as I get the hang of this internet thing I’ll try to offer more and more of the service which helped build the great community of customers that has stood by us down through the years.
